Five Day Job Readiness Training Hands-on experiential learning in a cohort model, includes job readiness training that covers topics such as:

Support That Keeps On Going
The real work begins after the five day work readiness course, when Columbus Works Members receive on-going holistic support. and are actively engaged in:
Job application and interview preparation support from their Job Coach
Engaged with Life Coach
Involved with Support Partners as appropriate; behavioral health, day care, transportation, legal assistance, and/or chaplain services
Regular communication with Star Employers
Advancement - Our On Going Commitment And when Members are ready Columbus Works is there to help with advancement opportunities. Promotions. Continued Education. Members are members for life. We're that serious about walking with Members on their journey from poverty to self sufficiency.
Drug Screening
Columbus Works Members agree to be drug-free and remain drug free. Candidates who are not yet ready to make this commitment are referred to our Support Partners that can provide recovery assistance.
Background Screening
Columbus Works Members voluntarily agree to participate in a a criminal background screen as preparation for job placement,
